Yoga for skiing

yogaskidoubleAfter a full morning of skiing, I took of my skis to head in for lunch.  Just after I put my skis on the rack, I spontaneously dropped to my knees and came into camel. It was the perfect counter pose to the forward crouching ‘ski position’ that I had been in for the past 3 hours.  It felt great to open the front of my body and re-energize the back muscles. Normally camel is a deep back bend but the height of the ski boots provided a nice modification. Luckily my good friend captured the moment on her camera so I could share with others.
