According to Patanjali, the great ancient yogic sage, there are a number of major impediments to yoga – over eating, over exercising, too much public contact and speaking too loudly. For this century we should add one more – toxicity. Clearly we are living in a toxic world, not only chemically and environmentally but just simply due to the obvious challenges and stresses imposed on us in our contemporary life styles.

In fact, most people need to detoxify or cleanse some aspects of their life on a regular basis. Cleansing or Detoxification in holistic terms means ridding the body, mind, + spirit of unwanted, unneeded, toxic substances or influences that are detrimental to good health.
